A boy and his dog lay around outside. The boy is bored of playing with his train set, and imagines being the engineer of a real train. The boy ties the dog up while he's asleep, and sneaks off. As the boy sneaks off, the dog tries to stop him, but finds he's tied up. The boy sneaks onto a train. He falls off, bumping his head, and slips into his own fantasy about driving a talking train that takes him on a nightmarish ride.
