As the story opens, two stones open in the side of a mountain, and the forty thieves emerge. People run from the streets as the savages raid their town, looting and stealing whatever they can find. A sign reads "Ali Baba and Son's Jugs." Ali Baba and the boy grab a camel and follow after the rogues.
