Clutch and company write about their past adventures in a hotel, when they are interrupted by Clutch's old friend Snowshoe Slednick, who rides a bobsled into his room door. He has come to ask for help because his friend, a captain, has been attacked by an arctic bird giant. Thus begins another of Clutch Cargo's adventures.
